The following was written by a Lady of the first Fashions in
Philadelphia, on Occasion of Mr. Gerant's Entertainment at
the 
City Tavern.
  Behold this badge the female [   ]?est,
  That's placed triumphant on my breast;
  Look in the centre, there you'll see
  Sol placed beneath the Fleur de Lys.
  But ah! sad omen, what is here?
  The thirteen states in puffs appear.
